Prayer Needs: Winter 2024

“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”

—Psalm 127:1

As we head into a new year, we are incredibly grateful for the ways the Lord has provided for us and continued to impact his people through biblical counseling, and we are more aware than ever of our utter dependence on him. None of our counseling, resources, courses, or events would be effective if not for the Lord, through his Word and his Spirit, changing hearts. As we seek to continually depend on him, would you join us in praying for these opportunities and needs this year?

  • More and more students are taking courses through our School of Biblical Counseling. Pray for these students—pastors, counselors, lay leaders, parents, friends—as they begin or continue to study biblical counseling. Pray that it is an encouragement in their own lives and in their ministry.
  • Pray for our faculty as they continue to hone their course material and shape it into training that is biblical, wise, practical, and loving.
  • Pray for Westminster’s Master of Arts in Counseling program, that students would be well-equipped for vocational ministry and the many ways these theology and counseling courses will equip them to serve others.
  • Pray that we at CCEF would continue to depend on the Lord in all that we do, knowing that it is he who builds the house, and because of him alone, our labor is not in vain.
