Part 3 of a 5 part series. In this article, John Bettler continues his development of a biblical concept of self-image. Bettler begins his discussion with an examination of Luke 9:23-27, Romans 6 and 12, Philippians 2 and Galatians 6. Bettler expands on the cost of following Christ and the idea of crucifying one’s flesh.
