More on “Illustrations”

In this article, Jay Adams discusses two issues involved in illustration (storytelling) within preaching: (1) Whether a story is recent or timeless and (2) Whether a story is contrived or actual. Adams maintains that each type of illustration has value and a proper place in preaching.
