Tears and Laughter: Luke 8:40-56

Phillips examines the story of the healing of Jairus’s daughter shows us that there are no hopeless cases, faith is a necessity and faith must overcome obstacles. Phillips concludes that amid tears of pain and loss, Jesus arrives with power to save–and those cries are transformed into tears of joy.
