Transgenderism: An Introduction to the Literature for Biblical Counselors

In this helpful essay, Pastor Joshua Blount introduces us to six books on transgenderism. The first three offer a biblical perspective on the ideology of transgenderism and provide a useful survey of the current Christian literature on the topic. The latter three books are memoirs that share personal stories and insights on what it is like to struggle with gender identity or to love someone who does. Blount’s goal is to prepare pastors and counselors to minister to those impacted by gender identity issues in both informed and compassionate ways.
