Adversity in the Church, Humility in the Pastor (Session 1: Pastor Care)

The pandemic has increased the challenges of pastoral ministry. When the heat gets turned up, we tend to work harder and worry more. But, at some point, we remember that new pressures are a call to new dependence and humility. In this first session, we will revisit Scripture’s emphasis on humility. This is the Christian virtue that is most opposed and least understood by the world. Humility helps us with the delicate balance of accepting our limitations and yet doing all that God calls us to do with courage and confidence.
