Daily life revolves around relationships. But the world (mis)shapes how we treat each other. This workshop explores how our relationships are affected by society’s current approach to sexuality, entertainment, technology, and consumerism, and helps us discover God’s resources that equip us in “this present age.”

In the first of a three-part talk, Bill Smith argues that the question is not if other people influence your friendships and relationships, but how other people influence them. We are all shaped by others’ interpretations of relationships and how to relate to others. Smith looks at how life in the 21st century impacts our relationships and covers some ways that social and cultural influences impact our views of each other.
