Getting to the Heart of Your Worry

Journal of Biblical Counseling 17:3

In this article, Robert Jones argues that no single problem plagues people more than worry or anxiety. Jones maintains that worry is a solvable problem. Matthew 6:19-34 gives hope to overcome it and change starts by recognizing that worry is sinful. Jones argues that worry is idolatry and unbelief and the solution is repentance and faith. Jones concludes by giving a series of self-counseling questions to help people examine their worries in the light of God’s Word.
