In this article, Judy Blore discusses her work with grieving families and outlines a basic framework for working with grieving children. Blore argues that working with grief in children entails four steps: First, we need to know kids; Second, we need to know grief; Third, we need to know Christ, who cares for children, who tells the truth, who wept, who comforts us; and Fourth, we need to be able to then pray and move out into faith and action.
