Aging

The aging process brings a cascade of losses—“shadows of death.” You can be certain that if you are given the gift of a long life, then along the way you will lose many good gifts that you once enjoyed—loved ones, health, abilities, significant work. God fully understands our plight. Christ personally intercedes for us. The Spirit actively works in us. The Word of God brings light. “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.” This breakout session will speak both to how each of us deals with aging and to how we can help others.
