Cross-cultural missionaries live a life “in-between”—not completely understood by the people they serve, nor by the people they represent. Life in this blended third culture presents unique challenges and opportunities for biblical truth to be fleshed out. This workshop, led by CCEF faculty and CrossWorld leadership, is for pastors and others who want to be equipped to care for those involved in mission.
In the second of this four-part talk, various missionaries share about their ministry history, cross-cultural stressors on the missions field, and how they are helping missionaries today. The panelists discuss the unique challenges faced by missionaries. They conclude with the role that the local church can play in supporting, sustaining, and encouraging missionaries.
