Caring for Missionaries (Part 4)

Cross-cultural missionaries live a life “in-between”—not completely understood by the people they serve, nor by the people they represent. Life in this blended third culture presents unique challenges and opportunities for biblical truth to be fleshed out. This workshop, led by CCEF faculty and CrossWorld leadership, is for pastors and others who want to be equipped to care for those involved in mission.

In the last of this four-part talk, Tim Lane maintains that we must work to understand both the unique experience of missionaries and the heart issues revealed on the mission field. Both are needed as part of a comprehensive care plan. Paul Tripp concludes the discussion examining how we can bring the truths of Scripture to bear on the challenges of missionary life in a way that empowers missionaries for continued service.
