Drawing Near When You Prayed and Nothing Changed

Seemingly unanswered prayer can feel like the last straw when deciding whether to bring hard things, or our deep desires, before the Lord. In those moments the hopes and beliefs of our heart are revealed. We may doubt God’s goodness, feel unloved, or believe we are at the end of the road with the Lord. So we draw near to other, lesser hopes. Yet, far from being the end of the road, it may just be the beginning of new experiences of grace, change, and joy as we dare to draw near to the God who doesn’t always give us what we think we need.
