Why We Pray and How We Pray

Why we pray and how we pray: God invites us to ask him for wisdom (James 1:5). Honestly praying with and for each other is not a secondary factor in ministry. It is primary because the things a struggler and a helper most need are gifts from God. All of us are up against forces far stronger than ourselves. And hope, forgiveness, protection, daily strength, courage, and the power to love come with God’s help. So we learn to ask—because our Father does not reproach us for needing him.
