Brigham Young’s False Teaching: Adam is God

In this article, Chris Alex Vlachos examines the core teachings of Brigham Young, one of the founders of Mormonism. Through historical evidence, Vlachos examines Young’s own teaching on Adam and Young’s belief that Adam was God. Vlachos traces the development of the doctrine throughout the history of Mormonism as well as controversies around the idea in Mormon history. Vlachos presents a biblical response to the ideas of Young and provides connections to evangelism of Mormons today. He provides a supplemental addendum to his article titled “A Method for Working with Mormons.”
